About the Kinder Goat Breed.
Originating in the mid-1980’s, kinders were first bred in Washington state. A cross between a Nubian doe and a Pygmy buck, the first offspring from this cross are first generation kinders. The offspring from fourth generation kinders become registered kinders. Kinders are a dual purpose breed used for both a dairy animal and meat. They are a great choice for small homesteads.
